Eastside Medical Center is expanding services to meet the growing needs for high quality and convenient emergency care close to home with the opening of a newly renovated full-service Emergency Department (ED) at our South Campus location at 2160 Fountain Drive in Snellville. The new addition will include 7,800 square feet of existing space. The new South Campus Emergency Department services will complement the existing 46 bed full-service ED at our Main Campus location at 1700 Medical Way in Snellville. The South Campus ED is a $2.8 million investment to expand emergency services to the surrounding community.
"With a growing population in Eastside's surrounding area, we recognized the need for additional access points for emergency care along the Highway 78 corridor," said Eastside Medical Center's Chief Executive Officer Trent Lind, "Our new South Campus ED will be an extension of our current emergency services and allow us to provide even broader access to emergency care for our patients. We are extremely excited about this new addition."
The 11 bed full-service South Campus ED is expected to open in the summer of 2017. Eastside Medical Center's new emergency department will better serve Gwinnett County families in Snellville, Loganville, Grayson, and Stone Mountain.
