Surgery is the branch of medicine dealing with the manual and operative procedures for correction of deformities and defects, repair of injuries and diagnosis and cure of certain diseases.
The Surgery Department at Eastside Medical Center has an experienced and specialized staff of surgeons performing procedures in our state-of-the-art surgical suites. All support staff (Nursing Supervisors, circulating nurses, surgical technicians, and Central/Sterile team) are highly trained and credentialled to provide patients with the highest quality surgical care.
Today's technology makes it possible for you to return to the comfort of your own home the same day following various types of surgery performed at our Day Surgery Center. Considering minimally invasive, laparoscopic surgery and "bloodless" surgery techniques using laser technology, you are able to move about shortly after most operations.
